Jango Fett

Jango Fett
is a Mandalorian bounty hunter, renowned as one of the best in the galaxy. He is also the last true Mandalorian soldier alive.

Early LifeEdit

Born on Concord Dawn, Fett had a happy childhood, but was very short lived. At a very young age, his parents were killed by the merciless Death Watch, and his sister was missing, also believed to have been killed as well. Found by the Mandalorians, he was adopted by them, as he was left without parents.

Life as a MandalorianEdit

Adopted by a Mandalorian named Jaster Mereel, Fett became one of the best soldiers, and eventually became their leader. Because of this, he returned to Concord Dawn and destroyed every Death Watch member.

As their leader, he guided his fellow soldiers through the Mandalorian Wars against the Jedi. He and his men fought all the way to the end, until death. Fett, however, was the last Mandalorian standing, as he proved to be strong after disarming several Jedi using his bare hands. He was deemed worthy and left alive by the Jedi, under the order of Jedi Master Dooku.

The Cloning ProgramEdit

Much later, during the early development stages of the Clone Wars, Dooku, who was now known as Darth Tyranus, had come to Fett, who was now a full fledged and renowned bounty hunter, for a preposition. This preposition was for Fett to be a cloning template for the Kaminoans to use in their cloning project. Fett agreed to Tyranus' deal, as there was a second part; the grand army would be vital in the destruction of the Jedi Order, which also persuaded Fett to agree, due to his aversion for Jedi.

He had only demanded for one thing from the Kaminoans, however. He wanted an unaltered clone for himself, whom he would raise like a son. Jango had called his "son" Boba.

As he joined the battle in the Geonosian arena, Fett was caught in a duel between Jedi Master Mace Windu and a reek. During his final moments, Fett is seen firing blaster bolts at Windu, who deflects them and nears the Mandalorian. After disarming his opponent, Windu briefly sliced through Fett's neck, taking off his head.

In the Republic Commando seriesEdit

Fett's sister, Arla Fett, appears in the Republic Commando novel series, and Jango himself is only mentioned and appears in flashbacks.
